[OOC] Permissions Meme!
Age: Originally 32, turned 33 in camp.
Height: 6'2"-6'3"ish
Weight: About 175 pounds. Probably a little more. I suck at estimating weight.
Medical Info: Whoo boy. This guy has been injured like craazy. Stabbed in the side, stabbed through the side, tortured three times (one during the war, once in canon (sup Niska), once in camp), killed but got better, lost an ear but got better, shot in the stomach (while in a freezing ship with no oxygen left, and yet he STILL manages to repair the ship), injured by shrapnel that took out a nerve cluster in his side, stabbed in the chest, numerous minor war injuries. AND THAT'S JUST CANON. Camp-wise, he's been stabbed in the side, stabbed through his wrists (three times), semi-strangled a few times, punched PLENTY of times, and...probably has more I forget. So, uh. His medical record is a little ridiculous-looking. Amazingly, he has never died in camp. This is good because he's never saved. It's taking a toll on him, though. His right hand doesn't work as well as it did and he's a bit slower nowadays. r-ridiculous amount of injuries + no resurrection = pain.
Eyes: Blueish Gray
Hair: Brown
Physical traits: Tall, decently muscled (he does a lot of fighting), scarred up like crazy. He's a fighter.
What's Okay To Mention Around Him/Her: Almost everything! He's seen all of his canon + the R.Tam files, with one tiny exception: the scene from "Our Mrs. Reynolds" where she finds him unconscious in his cabin and kisses him. ... and probably the preceeding scene too. He still thinks that Inara kissed Saffron during that ep. 8D So yeah. Talk to him about anything! Just expect him to lash out if you poke at his hot buttons.
Abilities: Is just an average human, really! With...an impenetrable coat and a ridiculous amount of stamina. This is a guy who's canonly repaired his cold, airless ship after being shot in the stomach. And pulled a katana out of his stomach so he could finish getting a signal broadcasted. Aaaaand joked all the way through a torture session that killed him. jesus christ.
Notes for the Psychics: Mal doesn't have any psychic defenses, but if he knows you're listening in, he'll quiet his thoughts. He automatically does this around River.
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Sure thing! A quick ping in IRC would be nice if you'd like to do something -- I can't read minds. That's River's job.
Maim/Murder/Death: I am a fight whore. Especially if it's a fight my character can't win. S-see all the fights he's had in-camp and you'll notice a pattern. Well, there were perfectly good IC motivations too. BUT IT'S STILL A WEIRD PATTERN I don't know how it happened. Maiming/injury is perfectly fine! I may even love you for it. As for killing... I personally don't mind character death, but there are a lot of people around Mal who probably WOULD mind. Death really needs to be planned in advance/be an unavoidable thing that only occurs after every other intervention has been exhausted.
Cooking: ... I can cook protein bars? Seriously, Mal doesn't know a damn thing about cooking. Especially not in your crazy 21st century kitchens.
